Infused waters help hydrate

dreamstime_xs_54452228

Infusing water with fruits and vegetables – even herbs, spices & edible flowers – is a fun and tasty way to get hydrated!  BEST of all, they are super healthy!

The possibilities are endless, in terms of fruit and vegetable combinations.

Choose organic fruits when possible, especially when choosing berries & non-peeled fruits.  Also, wash all produce well before making the recipes.

Try these:

Mango & Pineapple Basil
(It’s like being on a tropical island!)

Fill pitcher with 2 quarts water. Gently submerge:
1/2 mango (peeled & sliced) + 2 (1/2″) pineapple rings + handful fresh basil
Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Strawberry Mojito
Fill pitcher with handful of fresh mint + 2 quarts water.
Gently submerge 1 cup halved strawberries + 2 limes (sliced).
Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
